Principles of choosing a pet comb
1. Combing is usually used to remove loose hair and keep the skin clean, reducing the probability of skin diseases and parasitic diseases. And evenly distribute the oil attached to the hair, making the fur look more supple and shiny.
2. For long-haired or double-haired dogs, brushing can remove dead hair from the lower layers and stimulate new hair growth. And it makes it easier for the shampoo to penetrate the surface of the skin when taking a shower.
3. According to the type of dog's fur, the number of times of brushing per week is not the same. Brush twice a week for short, smooth hair and daily for long, smooth hair. Those in between these two hair types can be brushed 3-5 times a week as needed.
Handle combs, also known as massage combs, are suitable for dogs with soft, long hair. Daily grooming of dog hair not only helps blood circulation, but also maintains the luster of dog hair, relieves dog hair tension, and is also suitable for first-time grooming. Since the handle comb has an air cushion (which cushions when the needle comes in contact with the skin) and dots on the needle tip (which dulls the needle tip), it protects the dog's skin from being scratched by the comb while combing. Recommended for daily use.
A comb can kill hair. Professional groomers usually use a comb to handle and pull knots. It is suitable for Poodles with curly hair such as Poodles and Bixiongs. When the needle is brushed against the direction of the hair flow, the dog's hair will become more fluffy and beautiful. However, the needle tip should not fit the dog's skin to prevent scratching the dog's skin.
